To me, this means my bank account is low, my wife is kind of mad, and I spend far too much time on the internet. i certainly can relate to this....  hey all..... lurked for a little while. finally joined last month. only been collecting art in any sort of regularity for 10 years or so which is a splash in the bucket for some. i have always gravitated to street art, urban art, graffiti, etc. i think my first art print was faile and it snowballed from there. luckily, my wife was an art major and puts up with my crazy hobby. 90% of the time, the art police is on my side.... with the exception of d*face (haven't converted her yet. haha).   |

Hi! We're Lawrence Alkin Gallery based in Soho, London. Our gallery showcases the best of contemporary art and renowned street artists. From 17 November - 9 December acclaimed artist David Walker will be exhibiting a brand new body of work titled Half A World Passed Me By. Walker’s last London show was in November 2014 at the Hoxton Arches in conjunction with Lawrence Alkin Gallery and was a sell-out show. Since then, Walker has been busy painting large-scale murals on streets in France, Denmark, Belgium and New York. He also recently created pieces for the Street Art Museum in Amsterdam and the just-opened Urban Nation Museum for urban contemporary art in Berlin. Hi All!
I've been on the other side for about ten years, even though i don't post much there these days.
Big fan of many of the usual suspects, in particular Faile, Micallef & Ian Francis spring to mind. I do a bit of my own art and photography now and again, though other things have taken over a bit recently.
Shall hopefully stick around the place!

Got into Collecting prints over the last year or so. Try to get as much framed & on the walls as possible. I live in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk with my girlfriend. Finally pulled the trigger to join. Been on the old forum before so familiar with a great bunch of you already.
Always been into graf. Bought my first ”street art” piece about 10 yrs ago - Bäst Pizzoli from POW. Down with the scene since. First mainly into Bäst and Faile. Then added some Scandinavian guys into the mix such as Akay, Nug and Husk Mit Navn along with others.
I update my art focused Insta from time to time - go check it out - @ ncewnimw
