Thx Fed Yes when we were down amongst the tear gas with the Palestinians. They really took care of us and were really cool.
When the tear gas hit they gave me satsuma type oranges to get rid of the horrible taste in your mouth. Likewise when they saw things coming in moved us with them. Great people & very kind

The strangest thing about the WOH was the utter unease i felt when opening a drawer on the bureau in the green room. full of pictures and family photos from a post war Austria. probably left deliberately when the bureau was imported or sourced at a junk shop in Israel and installed in the WOH. odd to see someone life laid out in front of you. postcards from Ostend & Brugge. far away places, full of mystery and romance.
