The pic posted by snowy in another thread with his framed "War Child" print reminded me that all things related to CHARMING BAKER deserve their own place. So let's put it all in here, please. Did I see it right in the Instagram thread that there's a new print release coming?   |

He's releasing some prints with Jealous again at Art15. Seen them on Instagram and they look huge. Amazing but huge.

I know the charming one was responsible for a very creative army recruitment ad just prior to gaining his success and recognition as an artist in his own right. It was a long time ago now, all the recruits were hand drawn as were the tanks and helicopters et al in a kind of fast frame collage......... so he no doubt had a lot of practice studying and drawing helicopters. Or he could just like helicopters? |

Jealous have a pink Fall to Arms at the Original Print Fair.
The Art15 piece is a monoprint possibly an edition of 3 of which 2 will be available. Selection of sketches will also be on sale.

I was looking forward to the release of the "Gloria" print quite a bit. I think it's fantastic but at £11,400 for an edition of 22 they can keep it.

saw gloria earlier - looks very nice .. very being the operative word.. when then applied to the
very high price ... followed by ... very silly price.
still someone with a very high amount of money to .. throw around will buy one..
really (if you were) given the choice ... B4nk5y / S ... or CB latest... the brain wouldn't be taxed too highly... not even in a couple of years.

Agree with above...a cracking print at a bank account CRACKING price.... My bonus doesn't stretch to that!!! I'm guessing not even Angelina J will be getting one of these!!  |
