I never saw the original - would you recommend it? if you enjoy David Lynch (or at least a more watered down version of him), the first season, first half of Season 2, and the ending are fantastic... some of the best television ever IMO.... but the new season is entirely directed by Lynch, unlike the show, and if the first four episodes are indication, he's in full Eraser Heads meets Mulholland Drive move... it's not as campy - darker and more disturbed - so far at least plus the original has the all time best soundtrack |
