I just picked this "Weapons of Mass Distraction" bit. Does anyone know if they're supposed to be perforated, or just look perforated?

Yes, they are perforated (or at least my one from the first Santa's Ghetto is perforated) but it's not immediately obvious. The black dots aren't holes, like they would be on a postage stamp, but there's kind of a dashed scoring along the lines of the dots; it's easier to spot on the photo of the reverse below:

Maybe Mister Aitch , King of the street-art stamps, made some for Banksy ! Mine is just as a postcard and came from a great collector...

Weren't these originally roaches to put in a spliff? Yeah, that's what I've always assumed. I like Banksy's assumption that people are going to be so stoned that they need the assistance of perforations to tear a roach for their next spliff

I may be wrong, but these were the flyers he did for his first show. In 98 i think? i had one given to me then (had no art thing then at the time, picked up my first piece that day and forgot all about it until about 5 years ago!), 6 years later found it in a bag of stuff, thought hmm thats cool. And binned it. I don't think that one was perforated but it was ages ago now. But i doubt the ones from 98 would have a web address on them. Again, i could be wrong!

Maybe some computer person could find out when banksy.co.uk was registered, if it wasn't done by 2001 it may bring questions up. Other than that id assume its all good.

There are perforated and un perforated examples, the former being the rarer of the two, although both have been repeatedly faked over the past 14 years.

Mine is not perforated and it is not a fake , if you would know the. Seller you woul know that it could not be a fake ! ( seer a long conversation in the other forum about another flyer that everybody told that it was we a fake but when they know who would it to me they all know that it was not a fake.

Just checked mine and it's similar.
