I buy what I like and i like what I buy no judgement on you tom - if you can afford it then I'm happy for you, but does it sicken anyone else that even $5K can't buy you a print by an anti-capitalist, social justice fighting, anarchist with a big mouth and a spray can, graffiti artist these days? oh, the irony... "I can't believe you morons..." once was prophetic..... now it's just a slogan not much different than 'Just Do It' don't get me wrong - love me some Banksy, but seriously what the fuck? |

I know what you are saying but having money in anything else is as piss poor - isas are shite - pensions well - they are ok atm but anything where i need to get my hands on cash relatively quickly is so poor. At least i can enjoy the print and (imho) is going to be better off than the0.5% inrterest i get |

At least i can enjoy the print and (imho) is going to be better off than the0.5% inrterest i get trust me... i'm envious you're in the position to buy one and would be happy for you if you manage to score one... would always rather see one on a wall than in a hotel lobby, auction house, or under buried under someone's bed like a gold brick my point was more about how absurd it is for anyone to have to shell out that kind of money for prints that were originally intended to be "affordable souveniers" (his words)... hard for me to reconcile what's become of it all... this isn't what the og's of the movement set out to do |

fed - I totally agree. I think its crazy that i can sell a fake banksy record cover for 30 times what i paid. the market is crazy. I have started to consolidate my art after collecting "urban art" and a few key pieces from classic artists is now my direction.

fed - I totally agree. I think its crazy that i can sell a fake banksy record cover for 30 times what i paid. the market is crazy. I have started to consolidate my art after collecting "urban art" and a few key pieces from classic artists is now my direction. you try emailing POW? they still have a stash of prints to sell.. haven't seen a price list in a while but there might be something in your price range |

Bought a banksy print a while back,lasted six months, not a fan of what was pretty average artwork at best imo.
I'd rather hunt down a Harland piece for far less than your budget and have a holiday.
Or better renovate your home
