Thought I'd share the results of a recent project...I modified an old desk to include a flat-file drawer. I used a relatively low-acid wood for the inside of the new drawer, and even though it's overkill, I lined it with mylar to fully prevent any off-gassing. And I did a decorative piece on the top with glow-in-the-dark resin. Now that I've done something like this I probably would've done a number of things differently, but it was a cool project and will provide some much needed storage for now. Wow that's a great job and really like the finish/glaze.. It took my ages to find a nice timber plan chest for the man cave (expensive over here in Oz).. picked it up cheap from a rich old retired boat architect  next I need some 1950's furniture and desk but got the all important wine rack in which was a priority   |

close up.. I have liked his work for a long time, picked this up in 2010,it is called 'obsolete documents' (12" x 24").. My plan was this was going in the office then buy a larger OG shortly after for the lounge, that didn't happen and his prices have gone up since 2010   |
